Swiss Brown Mushrooms

With Autumn upon us we are giving swiss brown mushrooms the thumbs up this week. This savoury staple is full of earthy fragrant flavours and is much stronger tasting than your everyday button mushroom. Perfect for stews, risotto and pasta their robust 'meaty' flavour is guaranteed to give your dish a rustic and hearty punch.

How to pick:

Choose firm mushrooms that have a dry surface and are tan to dark brown in colour.

How to store:

Store your mushrooms in a brown paper bag with some paper towel in the crisper of your fridge.
