The first batch of mangoes from the Northern Territory have just arrived and they are our pick of the week.
Spring is in the air and summer is just around the corner... The first thing you smell when you walk into our store is the sweet fragrant scent of an Aussie mango and nothing signifies summer more than these delectable, loved by all tropical fruits.
How to pick:
Follow your nose. A ripe fresh mango should have a fragrant and fruity aroma and a full colour. Avoid mangoes that are too soft or bruised. Unripe mangoes will have no scent and patches of green.
How to store:
Store unripe mangoes in a cool place in the kitchen until ready to eat.
