Dutch carrots are also known as baby carrots and are smaller in size and sweeter in taste. They are available all year round but are at their best in the cooler months.
How to pick:
Look for firm carrots with no soft or discoloured patches.
How to store:
Store dutch carrots in a plastic bag in the crisper of your fridge.
How to prepare:
Steam or boil the carrots until just tender. Melt some butter in a pan and then add your carrots and some honey. Toss for about two minutes until the honey becomes a lovely dark brown. Season with salt and pepper and serve!
