Careme (cheats) Petit Fours

We were not all born to bake. So why not assemble?

It's ridiculously easy and quick to put together some of these lovely little numbers and  a nice trick to have up your sleeve!

We have simply taken a packet each of Careme chocolate and Careme vanilla frozen pastry and defrosted and unrolled the sheets. We have then cut out pretty shapes and pressed some into tart moulds. You then pop them on a baking tray and into the oven for 10mins and voila!  Done. 

Now all you need is some biscuit cutters and your imagination! 

We have filled the tart casings with good quality chocolate mousse or custard and sandwiched some of the other pastry with marscapone...Fresh berries and double cream... Love hearts dipped in chocolate, whatever takes your fancy...
